Week 6- Final Machinima Documentary 

This is my Interactive Instillation Documentary  for BENV2423- Real time interactive environment EXP1. The Machinima Documentary explores how light and motion sensors obtained from my pachube feed can be conveyed through a virtual environment with relevance to Paul Virilio’s concept of ‘Pure War’. Documentary modes that I have explored include observational and expository. 

The Concept

There is a great fear of the instantaneous, and that we will all be moving passengers in transit, no longer citizens, heading for a place where all places will be in the same space and fabric of war.  Light however directs motion. Whenever light can be seen at the end of the road, one begins their journey to freedom. A peaceful Sanctuary awaits those who are strong enough to escape their fears. War is no longer instantaneous, it’s clam and controlled.
